Does Anyone Know The Status Of The BCG Shortage In Jan 2025?

The new manufacturing plant was/is scheduled to come online this year and hopefully will eliminate the shortage that has been causing split dosages (mine is spilt 1/3 in maintenance—induction for me was full doses.)

Unfortunately there is no clear information on the status of the BCG shortage in January 2025. However, a new manufacturing plant was scheduled to open in 2024 which hopefully helped address the shortage that was causing split dosages of BCG. Unfortunately there is no clear information on the status of the BCG shortage in January 2025. However, a new manufacturing plant was scheduled to open in 2024 which hopefully helped address the shortage that was causing split dosages of BCG. The BCG shortage has impacted treatment, requiring split or reduced dosages for some patients. Immunotherapies like nadofaragene firadenovec and nogapendekin alfa inbakicept have shown promise in clinical trials when used together with BCG for people who don't respond sufficiently to BCG alone.
